USF Wind Ensembles

The Wind Ensemble program has emerged as one of the premier programs of its kind in the nation. The University Wind Ensemble performs the finest in wind and percussion literature, and has won the praise of world- class composers for its interpretive performances of their compositions. The University Symphony Band is a select group of 70 of the finest wind and percussion performers on campus, and the USF Chamber Winds performs masterworks for small wind ensembles. An annual highlight is the USF Festival of Winds, which draws over 300 high school musicians from across Florida for three days of intensive rehearsals and performances.
