IDRS Conference 2019
The University of South Florida's School of Music is pleased to announce the hosting of The International Double Reed Society (IDRS) 2019 Conference on the USF Tampa campus. This conference welcomes double reed players and enthusiasts from all over the world and includes world-class artists, and a comprehensive display of exhibits of instruments and double reed merchandise from around the world.

IDRS was established in 1971 as world-wide organization of double reed (oboe and bassoon family) players, instrument manufacturers and enthusiasts. The society has over 2,300 members from around the world. Within the United States, all 50 states as well as the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico are represented.

IDRS 2019 conference is a five-day event filled with concerts, masterclasses, and special events. We expect this conference to be one of the largest in IDRS history, bringing 900-1200 or more double reed-ists and their families to the Tampa Bay Area.
