Dr. Ozsever began playing guitar at age 10. After witnessing performances from world-renowned concert artists, he began studying classical guitar. His passion for music of all genres has led him on such creative pursuits as rock bands, country bands, Irish bands, jazz ensembles, and writing and producing popular music.

In 2007 Dr. Oz graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Music Degree from Middle Tennessee State University. During his senior year, he was awarded the Outstanding Achievement Award in guitar performance. He then received a graduate teaching assistantship to study with EMI recording artist Ernesto Bitetti at the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music. In 2009 he earned a Master of Music Degree, and in 2014 he completed a Doctor of Music Degree. He has received numerous recognitions and competition prizes including the top prize for graduate strings in the 2008 Indianapolis Matinee Musicale and 1st prize at the 2009 Rosario Guitar Competition.

In 2011 he released his debut album Cancion: Music of Spain & Latin America. He is also a founder and former co-director of the Indiana International Guitar Festival & Competition. He has made numerous radio appearances across the country. He has also commissioned and premiered a number of new works for classical guitar. Dr. Oz is also on faculty at Manatee School for the Arts in Palmetto and Patel Conservatory in Tampa.
