About the School
Touch iPad Quintet Rocks the Palladium Theatre
Touch, the School of Music's iPad Quintet, was recently invited to perform as part of the TEDx Tampa Bay 2013 event. Their performance literally rocked the Palladium Theater in St. Petersburg on Friday, October 25. The theme of the day-long conference was "Exploring the Past, Embracing the Future."

Touch is made up of music education faculty members David Williams and Clint Randles and music education Ph.D. students Jose Ruiz, Nick Stefanic, and Jeff Temple. They were joined for this performance by School of Music alumnus Nate Strawbridge. The ensemble performed three original pieces spanning different musical styles, including a standard blues piece, an electronic punk tune, and an African drumming number that had the audience on their feet dancing along!

Watch the video to learn more about Touch, and plan to attend their next USF concert on Friday, March 21, 2014 at 7:30pm.
