Student Information

Student acceptance rosters were emailed to High School Band Directors on the morning of Monday, October 9, 2017. Every accepted student is required to complete the following:


1. Read through the Student Info Packet with your parent/guardian. This will answer the majority of your questions, including how to process your payment!

2. Register: The link for electronic student registration was emailed to your Band Director with your schools acceptance roster. If you were notified by your Director that you have been accepted into our 2017 event, please ask him/her for the registration link. Registrations are due by Friday, October 27, 2017.


3. Submit Payment: The link for electronic payments was emailed to your Band Director with your schools acceptance roster. If you are responsible for processing your own payment, ask your Band Director for this link. Payments are due by Friday, October 27, 2017.



4. Complete the Festival Guidelines Form. This form requires a parent/guardian signature, as well as your band directors signature, and must be brought with you to onsite registration.

5. Complete the Medical Form. This form requires a parent/guardian signature and must be brought with you to on-site registration.

6. Complete the Photo/Video Release Form. This form requires a parent/guardian signature and must be brought with you to on-site registration.

7. Print the Master Student Schedule. All events listed in this schedule are required!

8. Prepare for your audition! Music will be posted under the auditions tab of this website on Wednesday, November 8, 2017.


9. The Festival of Winds map below outlines walking and driving directions from the School of Music to Embassy Suites. Anyone commuting or parking during auditions must park in lot 9C or 3D and a parking pass is required. Parking passes can be purchased from the Kiosk in Lot 3D under the large Oak Tree. Please note that machine on processed credit/debit cards (cash is not an option).
